Spending Christmas in Canada

If you follow me on instagram, you might have seen my little #tbt (except that it’s Saturday… #tbs?) about spending Christmas in Canada last year. I got quite a lovely response and it inspired me to do a little #tbs (heh) post here too! Canada is absolutely incredible – I loved it from the second I arrived, even though it was absolutely freezing. I went there to visit my boyfriend – we were long distance at the time, though he now lives in Australia with me (yay!) It was my first White Christmas ever and was the most magical experience of my life – I honestly believe Canada’s the place I’m meant to be! Also, just as a very important side note: there’s so many all-you-can-eat sushi places for around $20-25 per person… it’s incredible.

I hope you enjoy this random selection of photos from my time there! This post is a little photo-heavy, so I’m saving the photos from our day trip to Niagara Falls for another post 😉 What’s your favourite place to travel to?

Canada is quite beautiful! However, I love the warmth myself and prefer traveling to anywhere where the sun is shining! Southern California has my heart! 😊

Ahhh, I can’t wait to visit California. My sister actually moved there a couple of years ago and I haven’t been yet!

      Haha, don’t worry – I’m feeling a little jealous of last-year-self too!

Unfortunately no! The day I arrived was the last day the market was running, and by the time I had arrived at the AirBNB and showered etc I was exhausted haha – the flight was over 30 hours! I would LOVE to go to the market next time though!

I’m sure it was an amazing experience – I would love to travel and spend time in Canada!
Except that freezing cold weather isn’t for me. 😉

My favorite place to travel to is Mexico City. It’s so full of beautiful culture and delicious food. You always have something to do.
